Aldi Süd Germany has to date sold more than 160 different products in its vegan range. From this Friday, May 24, the range will be complemented by Magnum Vegan Almond and ice cream line “Made with Luve”.
The Magnum Vegan Almond was previously available in Aldi Süd’s range and will now return as a promotional item. An additional ice cream will be available in four varieties from “Made with Luve”. It contains the protein of sweet lupins and is therefore not only vegan and non-GMO but also naturally lactose and soy free.

Oat cookies with dark chocolate will also become vegan through a recipe change, which will be available from June in June in all Aldi Süd branches in the standard range.
Reportededly, Aldi Süd is altering the recipe of the vegan fish finger remoulade due to consumer requests, and both the fish fingers and the remoulade are now vegan. The product was recently awarded the Vegan Food Award by PETA in the “Best vegan fish” category.
Aldi Süd has distinguished itself positively regarding their vegan range. Recently the company together with Aldi North occupied the top place in the Vegan Ranking of the Albert Schweitzer Foundation [German].
