Nowadays, for vegan businesses, private companies and publicly traded alike, to be estimated at several billion is no longer rare, especially among the vegan meat and dairy giants, including the global players like Impossible Foods and Oatly.

In 2020, investments in vegan food companies almost doubled, with particularly high growth for cultured meat. According to forecast data by Fortune Business Insights, The global vegan food market is projected to grow from $26.16 billion in 2021 to $61.35 billion in 2028 at a CAGR of 12.95%.
