The company NutreeLife, based in Preston, England, is launching its new “Live Well” product line. According to the company, this is the first vegan protein bar snack bar in Great Britain. The new bars are gluten-, soy- and dairy-free, contain superfood ingredients such as turmeric and charcoal, and are currently available from Amazon, among others.
NutreeLife is a British family-owned company dedicated to producing high-quality, nutritious and tasty products using only the finest natural plant-based ingredients. The manufacturer’s new Live Well products are designed to meet exactly these criteria. Only plant-based protein is used in the recipe, sustainably sourced from Europe.
The new protein range consists of flavors such as the Recovery Bar with Clementine and Turmeric; the Detox Bar with Blueberry and Charcoal; the Wellbeing Bar with Roasted Pistachio, Cocoa and Chlorella; and the Energy Boost Bar with Pink Guava and Beetroot. Each bar contains 12 grams of protein and just 200 calories. The bars are currently available from NutreeLife and Amazon, but are expected to be available in selected stores over the next six months.
“The market for protein and health bars is saturated with products that bring very little benefit to consumers. That’s why we’ve set out to develop a truly unique health bar that delivers much more than just extra protein,” said Adam Hodgkinson, co-founder and head of new product development at NutreeLife, about the launch of the vegan bars.
In the U.S., vegan protein products such as NuGo Nutrition and Truwomen are becoming increasingly popular.
