Impossible Foods announced via a press conference on Facebook Live on Thursday that its flagship product the Impossible Burger will roll out into 777 additional retail outlets on April 17th, meaning its products will be now available in around 1,000 retail stores in total.
In the press conference CEO Pat Brown said this expansion puts them on track or even “ahead of the trajectory” in the mission to replace animals from the food system over the space of the next 15 years.
All of the additional stores are part of the Albertson’s family including Safeway, Jewel-Osco, and Wegmans.
