Vegconomist Now Available in Chinese Languages as Plant-Based Asia Continues to Thrive

We are proud to announce that vegconomist is finally live at our newest platforms vegconomist.cn and vegconomist.hk, opening up our reach into Asia and bringing all the latest vegan business news to readers of  Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Along with German, English and Spanish, this brings our total to five languages.

The exciting news comes as we continue our mission to become the leading business platform for vegan and plant-based business news around the globe. China is of huge importance in the industry with the largest global population, making massive gains this year in the shift towards plant-based, following last year swine flu and the subsequent  mass culling of hogs.

Vegconomist can now access an incredible reach after launching as a German platform in May 2018, followed soon after by our Global version in English just over a month later. In September 2020 we launched in Spanish which opened up our reach to both Spain and Latin American countries. From now we also have two Chinese languages, allowing us to reach into large parts of Asia which as well as mainland China, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.

We can attribute our success to the incredible achievements of all of those in the plant-based industry.
