A new delivery platform called Get Vegan Grub, formerly known as IndieHob, which supports local and independent business, only allows 100% vegan products, has a policy of ethics towards its partners, and even provides eco-friendly food packaging, sets out to be a “cruelty-free alternative to Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.”
Get Vegan Grub was founded in Manchester by entrepreneur Prashant Kumbhat, who follows the principles of Jainism, and says: “Unlike other platforms – like Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo – we do not overcharge our partners. This means our partners get to reinvest their profits back in their businesses”
His platform works with independent food businesses to offer vegan and gluten-free dishes around Manchester and is launching at a time when not only is veganism is at an all-time high in the UK, but DTC services around the UK and around the world are absolutely thriving within our global situation. Kumbhat is surely set for success.
The company website enthuses, “We know that it’s not always easy to find a dedicated vegan menu when you’re ordering food. A lot of restaurants don’t have vegan options for every course, or they simply adapt existing dishes. We’re out to change that!

When food businesses join us, they have to provide us with a vegan menu. This encourages them to create a dedicated menu, so you can find vegan grub from local businesses, easily.”
