Dunkin’, the second-largest coffee chain in the United States, has eliminated the surcharge for plant-based milk at its more than 9,500 locations. This decision follows similar moves by Starbucks, Dutch Bros, and Scooter’s Coffee, marking a shift among major coffee chains toward more equitable pricing for non-dairy alternatives. The change comes after discussions with the advocacy group Mercy For Animals, which has campaigned against additional costs for plant-based milk.
