Colorado-based Meati Foods has launched its first breakfast product: Meati Breakfast Patties, now available in Original and Maple flavors. Made of 98% mycelium, the patties are exclusively available in the freezer sections of 280 Sprouts Farmers Market locations across the United States. The Breakfast Patties are designed to deliver a nutrient-dense alternative to conventional breakfast meats. Each patty provides eight grams of protein, four grams of fiber, and no saturated fat or cholesterol. JUST Egg announces that Barnes & Noble, the largest bookseller chain in the US, will introduce its first fully plant-based sandwich, the JUST Egg™ Breakfast Sandwich, all B&N Cafés beginning Monday, April 10. Wagamama Adds Scrambled OGGS to Vegan Full English Breakfast

UK-based Japanese restaurant chain Wagamama has modified its vegan full English breakfast to include OGGS’ egg alternative instead of tofu. The dish, which was first launched in 2019, also features vegan bacon, jackfruit sausage, grilled tomato, katsu sweet potato, mushrooms, and a toasted hirata bun. Currently, it is only available at Wagamama’s airport locations (Manchester, Gatwick, and Heathrow). OGGS’ scrambled egg alternative is said to be the UK’s best-performing plant-based egg product. Caribou Coffee Adds JUST Egg Flatbread to Permanent Menu at Nearly 400 Locations

Just in time for Veganuary, US coffee chain Caribou Coffee announces its first plant-based breakfast sandwich, the JUST Egg Roasted Tomato & Pesto Flatbread, is now part of its permanent menu. The move comes after the item’s sales reportedly outperformed the chain’s vegetarian breakfast option by 45%.
